As this little girl here (yes that’s me) I would never have thought life could be so beautiful….

It has come to my attention that I have neglected to mention a few of the bakeries that I visited on my last tour….. So here is a quick update on a few bakeries well worth a mention.

First up we have Balthazar… In New York, a very French, extremely rustic and very popular bakery. The window displays defiantly caught my eye, pastries were lovely in crust colour, flavour and they had a great selection of miche loaves.

So my trip has almost come full circle. I’m back in the north of France making so many delightful treats. I definitely don’t need any more sugar in my life, stupidly jumped on the scales today even thought about how long it would take to walk home as the kilos have piled on. But as they say when in Rome… Or should I say France…

I have been able to spend more time at Dawn Foods here in France, working alongside Philippe Depappe the highly talented Patissier…
